WHAT:

All ticket holders will receive a locally crafted pottery bowl as well as their choice of two servings of take-out soup in an eco-friendly glass jar.

This year’s soup will be provided by local organizations including; Our Kids Count, Roots Community Food Centre (formerly Roots to Harvest), RFDA, Willow Springs Creative and Shelter House staff. Ingredients are posted here so that they can be reviewed before making a choice; local ingredients are being used whenever possible. Financial support from Impala Canada will cover the costs of the ingredients.

Drive-through the Moose Hall parking lot, located at 434 Fort William Road between 11am and 2pm on Saturday, October 15.

THERE’S MORE:

The drive-through will also feature:

  • A food drive to collect non-perishable food items; suggested items in high demand include include sugar, peanut butter, canned tomatoes (crushed, tomato sauce), canned beans, mayonnaise, white rice
  • The sale of $20 tickets for a 50/50 lottery (maximum prize $5000) in support of Shelter House Thunder Bay; cash and cards accepted; the winner will be drawn on Saturday, October 15
  • The sale of bowl cozies and other food related hand-made items
  • We prefer you bring Cash, it helps makes the process efficient – but if you forget cash, we also accept debit and credit card
