Thanks to the support of our community, Empty Bowls 2025 raised $28 000 to give back to food programs in Thunder Bay. The proceeds have been distributed to the two recipient organizations, the Thunder Food Bank and Shelter House Thunder Bay.  Read more about the donation in the media coverage by Tbnewwatch and  TBT news. 

In addition, $1000 has been donated to Roots Community Food Centre for their Free Soup for Students initiative (read more here) in support of bringing free soup to high school students attending Lakehead Public Schools. This initiative aligns with our goals and we look forward to seeing the program grow.
