Ticket sales are closed for Empty Bowls 2022.

Thank you to everyone who ordered.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday between 11am and 2pm, where you can pick out your handcrafted bowl, as well as any homemade soup and/or bread that you reserved.

The Moose Hall is located at 434 Fort William Road. Please consider travelling south down Fort William Road (this is the section that runs past the Wholesale Club and Push Athletics), allowing you to turn right into the parking lot at the northeast corner of the building.  Click here for a map.

You will be asked for the name provided at the time of purchase as you enter the lot – soup will be picked up there and the ticket will be used to select your bowl before you exit.

Bowl cozies are available at $10 each as well as tickets for a 50/50 raffle ($20 each or 3 for $50) with the draw to be held at 2 p.m. Saturday!

New this year – HUMMUS made for us in the Roots Community Food Centre Kitchen by a graduate of the Culture Kitchen program.  You can bring home a 4 ounce container for $5.00 – delicious with crackers, as a spread on a sandwich or for dipping with veggies!

We’re excited to announce that additional tickets will be available on site on Saturday.  Thanks to the hard work and generosity of the potters and our soup-makers, we have more bowls and soup than originally anticipated!

Cash is preferred as it helps make the process efficient – but if you forget cash, we also accept debit and credit cards.

Donations for the Shelter House pantry will be accepted with gratitude.  Top items on the wish list: peanut butter, sugar, mayonnaise, canned tomatoes, canned baked beans, canned cream of mushroom soup.

Thank you for supporting this year’s Empty Bowls Caring Hearts drive through event which raises much-needed funds for Thunder Bay Food Bank and Shelter House Thunder Bay.   We are hopeful to be inside in 2023.
